Mitsubishi Electric’s CP3800DW dye sublimation printer: top choice for extremely fast and borderless A4 prints

Mitsubishi Electric has added a very compact and economical A4 photo printer to its range of dye sublimation printers for professional use. Recently presented at PMA 2008 in Las Vegas where it enjoyed a warm reception, the CP3800DW is now available in Germany, too. It was developed for all photo service printing that demands laboratory quality results. At 300 x 600 dpi, its very high resolution enables the CP3800DW to print large-format borderless pictures up to a size of 20 x 30 centimeters in the highest quality.

One outstanding feature of the CP3800DW is its innovative, space-saving design: with compact dimensions and low weight, the printer is actually only slightly larger than the paper format.

In addition, the CP3800DW ensures exceptionally reliable operation thanks to its proven roll-type technology. This technology saves time and money by using coreless paper rolls with high picture capacity. It eliminates the need for frequent roll replacement, prevents paper jams and guarantees trouble-free printing even in continuous use. In contrast to single sheet fed systems, the paper remains in the printer throughout the entire print cycle right up to the printout. And that means less dust gets into the printer. The ink sheet and paper are always precisely positioned during the entire printing process.
